An Ivory Crystal Edged Veil for Real Bride Roh

Today we wanted to share with you one of our fabulous real brides, Roh, whose beautiful wedding was recently featured on Whimsical Wonderland Weddings where she wore our fabulous ivory crystal edged veil Natalia! Ben and Roh were married on the 10th of August 2019 and celebrated their nuptials at the Great Lodge in Essex. They definitely had a mixed bag weather-wise, but were rewarded for the ups and downs by a rainbow which resulted in some fabulous images.

And now onto the part we played in this special day: the veil!
Bride Roh wore a pale ivory crystal edged veil, Natalia, in our Italian Style tulle. Scroll to the bottom for more details on Natalia. The style suited her dress perfectly as the edging is made up of a continuous row of sparkly silvery diamantes, and Roh had some subtle details on her dress that matched this detailing. Across her shoulders and back, there are some fantastic diamante appliques that added a beautiful sparkly accent on an otherwise simple and chic dress.
I’m always a fan of the intimate details and the “getting ready” shots. I love that the photographer used our ivory crystal edged veil as the backdrop for one such image here.
That first look!
Gosh, just looking at these images of Roh on her way to see her groom takes me back to the morning of my own wedding. It’s the most nervous I’ve ever been in my entire life. I was almost paralysed with fear. If Roh was nervous here, it certainly doesn’t show!
I love the pale blue colour choice for both the groom and the bridesmaids. In fact, the bridesmaid’s gowns are so unusual. The subtle stripes and the overall cut and shape; there’s a very 1920’s feel about them.
I can just imagine how excited everyone was to see a rainbow come out. You just can’t anticipate something like this on your special day, can you? But it would have been very well received by both the bride and groom and the photographer I’m sure!
