What Is An Elbow Length Veil?
An elbow length veil is one of the shortest wedding veil lengths available. It sometimes gets confused with waist length in bridal shops as though the two are interchangeable. But it’s actually a traditional set veil length in its own right. And, as you can tell from the name, it will hit most brides right at elbow level.
Why Choose An Elbow Length Veil?
Elbow length veils can be a great option for petite brides. Depending on the bride’s height, the veil should finish somewhere in the curve of her back which is a very pretty look. It’s also possible to drastically alter how long an elbow length veil looks by how high (or low) on your head you insert the comb. You could create a waist length effect by wearing the veil towards the nape.
How Long Is An Elbow Length Veil?
Our elbow length veils are 25 inches from top to bottom on a single layer veil, and 45 inches combined length on a two layer veil. The blusher is 20” long so if you plan to wear your veil over the face for the ceremony, we’d generally advise going for a slightly longer option such as hip length. These have longer blushers of 30".
