Today we are excited to share some breathtaking images (and a video) from a recent styled shoot in Ibiza. This shoot celebrates a look that is both timeless and empowering: natural hair with a veil. We often hear from brides with natural curly hair, especially brides of colour, asking how they can incorporate a veil while letting their natural texture shine. And the answer is an enthusiastic yes! For this shoot, we paired our Riannah veil with a stunning two-piece bridal ensemble by Jarlo London, allowing the model’s natural curls to take centre stage.

The amazing team at Hidden Treasures Ibiza hosted a brilliant campaign during the first lockdown called 7 Shoots of Summer and we’re thrilled to have taken part in this most recent shoot.

Natural Hair With A Veil: A Statement of Beauty

Brides with naturally curly hair often wonder if they can wear a veil while maintaining their hair’s unique texture. The answer is a resounding yes! This shoot was designed to showcase how a veil can complement natural curls beautifully. The model’s stunning curly hair, combined with the modern, less formal bridal look, created a style that felt fresh and incredibly empowering.

We know how important it is for brides of colour to see themselves represented in bridal fashion, and we couldn’t be more in love with the way this shoot turned out. The flowing veil, paired with natural curls, makes for a look that feels ethereal and effortlessly chic.
