Hello Gorgeous Brides!
How are you all doing today? I know that may seem like a very loaded question at the moment given the current situation, but it’s still nice to be asked, right?
For myself, it’s just nice to be here with you today talking about something other than COVID-19, even if just for a few short moments. The world may currently seem like a very scary place, but here at Wedding Veil Central, we’re trying to keep things as normal and upbeat as possible. And right before the lockdown began, we had the most wonderful time at our wedding veil photo shoot for our 2020 wedding veil collections. And now we’re absolutely thrilled to share some of the gorgeous images with you as well as a few cheeky behind-the-scenes.
On Location
The shoot took place at the fabulous Glass House at Staining Lodge golf course which is only a short hop, skip and jump away from our sewing studios in Blackpool. It’s a neutral venue that you can really add your own stamp to. In our case, we were lucky enough to be working with venue dressers extraordinaire Bash Parties & Events who were able to create not only the fabulous backdrop for our veil images but also some beautiful tablescapes for our additional shots.
Picture Perfect
Speaking of shots, our photographer was the wonderful Jo Boulton. We’ve worked with Jo before on our previous wedding veil photo shoots so we knew she’d deliver some beautiful shots, but even we were bowled over by just how well everything came together.
Model Behaviour
Our model was the gorgeous Jessica Bradder who made the most beautiful bride. Anyone who can stand for over 6 hours in heels and still manage to look this good deserves some kind of medal I’m telling you.
Blushing Bride
Of course, she was helped along the way to bridal perfection by Jo Coole (best name ever!) a hair and makeup artist that we’ve also worked with many times before. Her specialty is natural, dewy bridal makeup and luckily she can also create hair that will withstand 60+ veils going in and out of it all day!
More Veils
Well, there you go! I hope you’ve enjoyed this little sneak peak behind the scenes at our 2020 wedding veil photo shoot and our lovely new imagery. If you want to see even more gorgeous pics you can just go to our veil collections page here: Bridal Veils.
Until next time, my lovelies. Stay safe everybody. Xxx
