Christmas Wedding Inspiration: A Festive Styled Shoot
In November of this year, a group or frustrated wedding creatives decided to add a little festive cheer to what has inarguably been the least cheerful year ever.
Headed by Sophie Oldhamstead Photography this fab group (linked below) put together this stylish and understated Christmas wedding inspiration shoot.
Our Contribution
For our part, we sent along a selection of gold bridal headpieces for the two “brides'” hair, and of course, some veils!
Bespoke Veils
I decided to use the shoot as an opportunity to showcase our custom veil process.
Unlike with a lot of styled shoots we take part in, this one was different in that I had the advantage of actually seeing the dresses first—So naturally, I made a veil for each!
The Gorgeous Venue
The venue was the beautiful Baddow Park House in Essex. It was dressed to perfection with artificial—yes, you read that right—artificial flowers from Fauxevermore floristry.
Decor & Colour Scheme
I really loved the colour scheme that was used in the images and the understated look. When you think Christmas wedding inspiration—or just Christmas in general—you might be forgiven for thinking of quite over-the-top decor. But here it’s sleek, modern and sophisticated.
Getting married at Christmas
Christmas is a gorgeous time of year to get married. The addition of a selection of Christmassy bits in your wedding decor is a great tie-in to the season. And the lights! Oh my goodness, you should have as many twinkly lights as is humanly possible!
