What Are Fingertip Length Veils?
Fingertip length veils are the most popular of our shorter veil styles. Finishing prettily at the bride’s fingertips. Or thereabouts, anyway. As we mentioned previously, it will depend on the bride’s own height. The veils are named after areas of the body merely to give an indication of their length. It’s not an exact science. But at the same time, not many people shop online with a tape measure next to them so, hopefully, it’s still helpful!
What Dresses Suit A Fingertip Length Veil?
Fingertip length veils really do look great with all dresses. I’ve yet to see a dress and veil combo that didn’t work with this length. It’s definitely true, however, that they look especially great with fishtail and mermaid style gowns. That’s because these gowns flare out just above the knee which is roughly the same spot the veil will end. That just seems to make sense, visually, and it’s a look we’re really fond of.
How Long Is A Fingertip Length Veil?
A fingertip length veil is 42 inches from top to bottom on a single layer veil, and 72 inches combined length on a two-layer veil. The blusher is 30” which is around waist level. This is the ideal blusher length and it stops just above your bouquet at the front.
